Jon "Athrawon" EdensJon has been active in the Pagan community for over 20 years and has lectured the general community on the true beliefs and practices of Wiccans and Pagans. He was the founder and director of the Texas Pagan Awareness League, an anti-defamation and Pagan rights organization that worked to further the rights of Pagans and laying a foundation for them to be open about their beliefs. He has been teaching classes on Wicca and other magical practices in the Houston area and the far reaches of Texas , Oklahoma and Arkansas for a little more than 15 years. He has also led open rituals and one time had as many as 400 plus people in attendance. One of the prevalent elements in Jon's teachings and rituals is the use of humour. He believes that celebrating the Sabbats should be just that; A celebration. Through the use of humour he is able to help others learn not only about Wicca and the Mysteries within Wicca, but about themselves. He is a firm believer that we are all students and it is through the wonderment and insight of beginners he also learns more about the Mysteries. Currently Jon is an instructor and a director at The Pagan Online Campus and is a priest of Blackberry Circle located in Conroe, Texas. |
